Enjoy a fun family day out at the annual Culcairn Agricultural Show. The key events they anticipate this year are the Shearing and Wool Handling competitions; Trick riders in the horse ring; Music entertainment, and as well as the usual horse and dog events. Competition from the pavilion in the form of photography, produce, cooking, flowers, floral art, and the various categories of the fine arts will once again make an important contribution together with school displays and other interested groups. They have launched for the first time in a number of years a Rural Achievers competition for young men and women between the ages of 20 -29 years, as well as Culcairn Miss Show Girl for young ladies 18-25 years. These competitions have a region and state final aspect culminating in Rural Achiever and The Land Showgirl announcements at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
